GRIEVANCE REDRESSAL COMMITTEE (GRC)

A Grievance Redressal Committee (GRC) is an important institutional body established to receive, examine, and resolve complaints and concerns raised by faculty and staff members. The committee is generally constituted to ensure fairness, impartiality, transparency, and a systematic approach to grievance handling. Its composition may vary slightly among institutions depending on their respective rules, regulations, and administrative guidelines. Generally, the committee consists of members from different sections of the institution, including senior faculty members, administrative representatives, teaching and non-teaching staff representatives, and a Member Secretary or Coordinator. The committee works collectively to examine grievances, provide appropriate remedies, maintain confidentiality, and promote a positive and harmonious working environment within the institution.
